IMPD Board of Appeals
This Board consists of three (3) citizen members and two (2) alternate citizen members, all of which are appointed by the City Manager. Any person directly affected by a decision of the code official or a notice or order issued under the International Property Maintenance Code, has the right to appeal. It is the responsibility of the IPMBA to hear the appeal and either confirm the decision of the Code Official or modify or reverse the decision.
The IPMBA meets in Council Chambers* on an as-needed basis dependant on the number of appeals submitted.
